Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vanity Analysis (the “Service”). In these Terms, “Vanity Analysis”, “we”, and “us” refer to the operator of the Service, which you can contact at contact@vanityanalysis.com. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use the Service, and by using it you confirm that you do. Where the law that applies to you makes that capacity depend on your age or on the authorisation of a parent or legal guardian, you confirm that you meet those requirements or have obtained that authorisation. The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

3. The Service

Vanity Analysis provides trading-research and simulation tools. It interprets a strategy you describe, evaluates it within a simulated research environment conditioned on historical market behaviour, and produces a research report. For the avoidance of doubt, Vanity Analysis:

  • is not a broker or dealer and does not execute, place, or route trades;
  • is not an investment adviser, financial adviser, or financial planner;
  • does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice;
  • does not provide trade recommendations or personalised recommendations of any kind.

Research outputs are not financial advice, and historical or simulated results do not guarantee future results. See section 12 (Research disclaimer) and section 13 (Simulation limitations).

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping it current.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
  • We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users (see section 17).

5. Research credits

Access to research is metered using credits. The following describes how credits work under the current operation of the Service:

  • credits are used to authorise a research analysis;
  • a successful analysis consumes one credit;
  • a strategy that is refused or that cannot be modelled does not consume a credit;
  • if an analysis is authorised but fails to complete, the credit is returned;
  • opening or reopening a report that has already been generated does not consume another credit;
  • credits are a functional allowance for using the Service. They are not money, not a stored-value or cash balance, and not a financial asset;
  • credits are tied to your account and may not be transferred or sold unless we expressly permit it;
  • credits do not currently expire. If we introduce an expiration policy, we will provide advance notice.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s components; we do not receive or store your full card details. By purchasing, you authorise the applicable charge for the package you select at the price shown at checkout.

  • If a payment fails or is declined, the associated credits are not granted.
  • Our systems are designed so that a single payment grants the corresponding credits only once, even if a confirmation is received more than once.
  • Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you, except for taxes based on our income.
Refunds, cancellation, and immediate performance. All sales are final and we do not offer voluntary refunds. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, purchases are non-refundable; an analysis that has been performed is a completed digital service and is not refundable; and unused credits are not voluntarily refundable.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because access to the Service is digital and is made available to you immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly request that performance begin at once and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose that right of withdrawal once an analysis has been performed. Where you have given that consent, an analysis that has already been performed is not refundable.

Where mandatory consumer-protection law nevertheless grants you a right to a refund, cancellation, or withdrawal that cannot lawfully be excluded, that right is unaffected by this section and prevails.

7. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Where these Terms conflict with such rights, those rights prevail.

8. Your content and strategies

You retain all rights you hold in the strategy descriptions, configurations, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of your trading strategies.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use Your Content only as necessary to operate the Service for you — that is, to interpret it, run the research you request, generate and store your reports, provide support, and maintain and secure the Service. This licence exists so that we can provide the Service; it does not permit us to sell or independently commercialise your strategies.

9. Reports

Reports generated for your account are made available to you, and you may access and use them for your own purposes. The Service itself — including its software, source code, algorithms, research methodology, interfaces, platform design, documentation, trademarks, and other intellectual property — remains ours. Providing you with a report does not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access, or attempt to access, an account or reports that are not yours;
  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with authentication or security features;
  • manipulate, forge, or tamper with credits or credit accounting;
  • engage in fraudulent, unauthorised, or abusive payment activity;
  • probe for, or exploit, vulnerabilities in the Service;
  • reverse engineer or decompile the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • scrape the Service or subject it to automated abuse or excessive load;
  • resell or provide access to the Service without our authorisation;
  • interfere with the operation, integrity, or availability of the Service;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

11. No third-party access to your reports

Reports and account data are private to your account. We enforce ownership checks so that one user cannot access another user’s reports. Attempting to defeat these controls is a breach of these Terms.

12. Research disclaimer

Vanity Analysis provides research. It does not provide:

  • investment advice or personalised financial advice;
  • trade recommendations;
  • any guarantee of profitability;
  • any guarantee that historical or simulated results will recur.

You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and for any resulting outcomes. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

13. Simulation and methodology limitations

  • Simulated results depend on modelling assumptions and on the market data available to the Service.
  • Historical performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance, and market behaviour can change.
  • Not every real-world trading condition can be perfectly reproduced in simulation.
  • Discretionary or unsupported elements of a strategy may limit how faithfully it can be modelled.
  • We may decline to analyse a strategy that cannot be responsibly modelled, rather than substitute assumptions to produce a result.

14. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, outages, or the availability of third-party providers on which it depends. We do not offer a service-level agreement unless separately agreed in writing.

15. Intellectual property

All rights in the Service and its underlying software, source code, algorithms, research framework, interfaces, visual design, documentation, brand, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them except the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

16. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of features that involve those providers may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, where necessary to protect the Service or other users, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Your reports and account data are handled in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and applicable law. Any unused credits are permanently removed on termination or account closure and are not voluntarily refunded, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vanity Analysis will not be liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or reliance on any research output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law.

19. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms. This provision is not intended to apply to ordinary, good-faith use of the Service.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the competent Polish courts; if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and the mandatory protections of that country continue to apply.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will revise the “last updated” date above and take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or through the Service. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

22. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@vanityanalysis.com.

These Terms describe how the Service currently operates and are provided in good faith. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer.
